Objectives

The Graduate Program has as its general objective the formation of qualified human resources, in addition to implementing, fostering and consolidating research and knowledge in the field of Veterinary Medicine, focusing on health and animal production, based on sustainability and well-being. Competencies will be formed to assist regional growth through technological and scientific development, with commitment to social aspirations. In addition, the course aims to contribute to the process of internalization of Stricto sensu graduate studies in the Greater Mercosur Frontier Mesoregion. The Program is intended for graduates in the areas of Agrarian, Health and related areas and seeks to train and qualify professionals capable of identifying and developing teaching and research activities in the field of animal health and production, under an interdisciplinary, critical and entrepreneurial perception. In addition, graduates shall be able to solve animal health and production problems in an innovative way and expand their technical and scientific knowledge, aiming at contributing to social, economic and political transformation.
